Waymo’s Future
This is Waymo’s next-generation autonomous prototype vehicle, developed in partnership with Geely’s premium brand, Zeekr. The Zeekr platform is derived from Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), with sliding, central doors that reveal a spacious interior with seats for five passengers. The car features many traditional amenities but, notably, its steering wheel and side mirrors can be removed. The designers also incorporated accessible features such as wider doors and a low, flat floor to make getting in and out easier. When released, the CM1e will feature Waymo’s latest autonomous technology.
