The Era of the Pinin Farina Nash-Healeys
The Nash-Healey Roadster was first released in 1951, combining the chassis of the race-ready Healey Silverstone, designed by British engineer Donald Healey, with a powerful and reliable six-cylinder Nash engine. A year later, a partnership between American automaker Nash and Pinin Farina would impact the styling of the entire Nash lineup, and help catalyze a period of growth for the Italian coachbuilder in America. With its Pinin Farina-styled body, the Nash-Healey combined recognizable design elements of full-size Nash vehicles with the sleek, taut silhouette of the Italian school.
