Tastes Like Money
For Matias "JR" Zamora, a young man in a family of lowriders, his first car was as much a means of expression as it was transportation. The 1979 Oldsmobile gifted to him by his father was built into a lowrider named "Thee Joker” when Zamora was just 18. Several more lowriders followed, until Zamora spotted his dream car at a swap meet while searching for parts—this 1959 Impala. It started as a simple street ride with hydraulics but soon received a new "Metallic Money Green" paint job. That inspired further upgrades, including pinstriping, a fully chromed engine and underbody, wire wheels, and more
