You’re pretty funny… funny lookin.

Modern National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Top Fuel Dragsters and Nitro Funny Cars boast the fastest acceleration in all of motorsport, launching to 60 mph in about 0.5 seconds and reaching top speeds upwards of 340 mph in less than 4 seconds. In the 2010 NHRA Funny Car season, John Force achieved the 15th of his record 16 championships. While Funny Car engines differ significantly from those in street cars, advancements in fuel management, combustion efficiency, and materials engineering can also inform the development of efficiency and reliability in more conventional engines.
