The Hand of 21

A tribute to late 1940s hot rodding, “Blackjack” was created by Hetfield and classic-car  customizer Josh Mills to appear as if it were a 1932 Ford being modified by a teenager in the  late 1940s. Hetfield and Mills used advertisements from Hot Rod magazine as a reference and  modified the car’s engine using only high-performance parts that would have been available  from 1932 to 1949, such as Stromberg carburetors, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and Osieki  Racing cylinder heads.
