Made for the Movies
The second of four Ken Block vehicles to receive a “Hooni-” nickname—a signature of his one-of-a-kind customs—the “Hoonitruck” was built for use in Gymkhana TEN. The inspiration came from Block’s father’s F-150, in which Block learned to drive. “Hoonitruck” features a variation of the twin-turbo V-6 used in the 2016 Ford GT race car, modified with a unique 3D-printed intake manifold. The truck was constructed with filming in mind, intentionally designed for easy repair to keep production moving when parts inevitably broke down.
Collection of Milton J. Verret.
This vehicle featured in the ‘People’s Champ’ exhibit.
