Red Bull’s Street Missile
The 2022 Formula 1 season saw fundamental changes to the sport's technical regulations, which define the “formula” that dictates how teams must build their cars each year. The updated 2022 regulations are based on ground-effect aerodynamics, a technique that had been banned since 1983, wherein the primary source of a car's downforce is created by generating an area of low air pressure underneath it. The RB18 dominated the 2022 season, winning 17 out of 22 races with drivers Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen. This performance earned the team their fifth World Constructors’ Championship.
