Our Second Annual P800 Norcal Rally
California’s coast plays host to the ultimate driving journey, putting you in the driver’s seat for five epic days. Join us as we cruise the best roads in Central and Northern California, making stops along the way to unlock private collections, embark on guided culinary excursions together, and experience this spectacular region from behind the wheel.

The Petersen International Rally
The Petersen Automotive Museum will have its second International Rally, which takes place in some of Europe’s most coveted automotive destinations, providing a one-of-a-kind experience to an intimate group of participants. The International Rally starts in the South of France and ends in Italy: ten days of highly curated experiences and exclusive access to the very best of the European landmarks, factories, private collections, art and culinary experiences.
The rally will travel through Turin, Tuscany, from Monte Carlo and the Italian Motor Valley, ending at the iconic Concorso d’Eleganza in Villa d’Este.
Event Itinerary
Day 1 - Monaco
As guests descend upon the picturesque landscape of the French Riviera, their journey begins with a seamless transition from the azure skies to the welcoming embrace of Nice Airport, nestled closest to the legendary principality of Monaco. From there, a chauffeured transfer awaits, whisking them away to the opulent splendor of the illustrious Hotel de Paris, a beacon of elegance and refinement perfectly nestled within the heart of Monaco. Set against a backdrop of Mediterranean allure, this prestigious abode serves as an exquisite sanctuary, offering unrivaled access to the enchanting delights that Monaco has to offer.
Day Two - Monaco
Experience the epitome of luxury as we explore Monaco's prestigious private car collections in the morning. Then, brace yourself for a spirited drive along the iconic Rally de Monte Carlo route through the picturesque Route Napoléon. We'll conclude the day with a sumptuous dinner, offering breathtaking views of the French Riviera.
Day Three - Monaco
A perfect day in the waters of the Monaco Riviera onboard of a yacht which will take the group to the islands facing Cannes for an incredible, relaxing day made even more special by gourmet food and memorable entertainment. For those who don’t wish to spend the day at sea, an optional visit to the fascinating Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild will be arranged. The Hotel De Paris also offers a wonderful spa to spend a few hours to regenerate before the adventure continues to Turin, the following day.
Day Four - Monaco to Turin
Heading out of Monaco and North towards the beautiful Langhe hills and wine region that surround the city of Torino, we’ll be pointing towards a landmark of the Italian automotive culture: the city which hosts several car manufactures and world-class artisan coach builders. After a stop at an incredible and extremely private collection, the rally will continue towards the city, where we will have access to very special venues and a delightful dinner at the world-renown La Pista, on the top the Lingotto historic racetrack. The group will then spend the night in the city center of Turin at Principi di Piemonte.
Day Five - Turin to Portofino and Florence
Day five is a free day for you to enjoy the beautiful city of Turin at your own pace! There’s plenty to see and do, and we’ve put together a number of recommendations to help you make the most of your time here.
Day Six - Florence
The small towns and incredible sights that Florence offer are unparalleled: we’ll start the day with an unforgettable collection tour led by a star designer followed by lunch at Dai Gemelli in Portofino. We’ll begin the drive down to Florence, arriving at our hotel where we’ll be spending the next three nights.
Day 7 - Motor Valley
Explore Florence in this relaxing, self paced day! Visit local art museums, such as the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo’s David. Try local cafes and cuisines, or partake in our spirited driving route to explore the scenery and breathtaking landscape of Tuscany!
Day 8 - Motor Valley
Today is all about cars! We’ll be doing a factory tour, followed by an elegant lunch and collection tours afterwards. Dinner will be served at a private collection, before we return back to Florence for the night.
Day 9 - Lago Maggiore
We’ll be making our way to Lago Maggiore, and on our way we’ll be making a stop in Milano for lunch at a private collection. Explore some of the finest Italian cuisine along the finest cars Milano has to offer, before making our way down to Lago Maggiore where we’ll be staying for two nights.
Day 10 - Villa d’Este
As a grand finale for our Road to Eccellenza Rally, we will be traveling from our Hotel to Villa d’Este, where we will conclude with an unforgettable experience at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Since 1929, Villa d’Este has attracted the most iconic and valuable cars to have ever existed. The glamorous concourse takes place in a 1568 lakefront villa. The exquisite historic cars taking part in the international field of contestants create an incomparable atmosphere in the environs of Villa d’Este, making a truly unique experience in the hearts of any car enthusiast.

2024 SEMA 4x4 Off-Road Rally Adventure
Join the Petersen Automotive Museum on an off-road adventure rally through the Mojave Desert on the journey to SEMA.
We’ve got a whole host of goodies and adventures planned out for this trip — we’ll be exploring the stranger elements of Joshua Tree National Park, navigating through the Mojave Desert and San Gabriel Mountains, grabbing lunch at historic ghost towns, participating in drive-in movie theaters, and more.

8:45AM - Meet at the Gamble House to begin the rally.
9:00AM - Enjoy a private tour of the Gamble House, which was featured as Doc Emmett Brown’s house in the 1955 segment of the film Back to the Future (1985).

2024 Road to Pebble Rally
Join the most exclusive rally during Monterey Car Week!
The 7-day experience begins in Malibu, California and winds its way up the coast, navigating some of the best driving roads that California has to offer. On the journey up to Carmel, the rally will stop at private collections rarely seen by the public.
During Monterey Car week, guests will receive access to all of the major Car Week events including Quail, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, and the Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance. In addition to the main events, guests will have the ability to watch all of the big auctions and receive hospitality at various museum partnered locations.
Run of Show:
Rally Meeting Point: Breakfast at a private collection in Malibu with the Petersen Automotive Museum.
Day 1, Day 2: Private and exclusive collection tours in Malibu, Santa Barbara, and Pismo Beach, as well as scenic drives through canyons and countryside. These first two days are best described as the all-access pass to some of the most jaw-dropping collections in the United States, matched only by the routes we’ll be taking.
Day 3: Rally to Carmel-by-the-Sea, check in to hotel and shuttled to dinner at an elegant and top-tier restaurant, coveted in Carmel by residents and visitors alike. We’ll have the opportunity for a rest from the drive, before the festivities of the Monterey Car Week begin.
Day 4: With unfiltered access to private and scenic venues, with hospitality by automotive manufacturers, we’re celebrating the start of Monterey Car Week the right way. Highlights include breakfast with Porsche, an opportunity to attend the Broad Arrow Auctions, and an exclusive industry dinner celebrating 120 years of Hispano-Suiza.
Day 5: Day five is highlighted with our visit to Quail - A Motorsports Gathering. A Peninsula-hosted gathering with brands such as Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Bugatti, and many other illustrious car manufacturers. See new prototypes and concept cars, record-holding hypercars and supercars, as well as many one-of-one classic and vintage cars and restomods.
Day 6: Want to see rare historic collections actually drive? Then look forward to Saturday, where we’ll be heading out to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to watch the Historics racing event. Spectate as the most prestigious cars race each other on this iconic circuit and mingle with industry experts on how these cars are kept in such brilliant condition.
Day 7: The Grand Finale, the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance. The most coveted car show in the world, it begins with the optional Dawn Patrol at 5:30AM, where we uphold the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance tradition of the race to be first on the lawn of Pebble Beach. After the breathtaking sunrise, we convene at 10:30AM for a VIP breakfast, where we’ll then immerse ourselves in the mystique of the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance.

About the Event
Join us for an unforgettable automotive adventure to the Central Coast! This exclusive rally promises a unique blend of spirited drives, private collection tours, and camaraderie among fellow car enthusiasts.
Only 20 cars will be accepted into the event and participants will have the opportunity to go head to head on a ½ mile airstrip!
Car requirements: Must be a sports or supercar from 1985 or newer

To keep our routes confidential, rally information will be sent the day before the event. Paper copies of the route will also be provided the day of the rally during our Driver’s Meeting.
For this Rally, please meet at the Petersen Museum at 9:00 AM on June 22nd, 2024 -
If you’re coming from the opposite direction, you are welcome to join us for a later part of the rally. If you’re interested in this, contact ksaville@petersen.org for more information.
Note: No discounts or special rates will be offered if entering the rally at a different point.

Feel free to bring any sports-car or supercar from 1985 and onwards. Please ensure that the vehicle is in appropriate condition for high-speed 1/2 mile runs.

Your guest may not bring an additional vehicle unless they purchase their own ticket. Due to restrictions, we are limited to a certain amount of vehicles for this Rally.

Our booked rooms contain 1 King Size bed per room. Bringing a guest does not include an additional room or bed.

Debuting this Spring, California’s coast plays host to the ultimate driving journey, putting you in the driver’s seat for five epic days. Join us as we cruise the best roads in Central and Northern California, making stops along the way to unlock private collections, embark on guided culinary excursions together, and experience this spectacular region from behind the wheel.
