About the Event
Join fellow Checkered Flag 200 Members, adorned in all-white attire, in our annual rally from the Petersen Automotive Museum to a beautiful private estate! Enjoy the first portion of the event including light breakfast and coffee at the Museum, followed by an amazing drive up PCH and through canyon roads, culminating an incredible garden party luncheon.
Originated by Jim Hull in 1978, we are celebrating the 30th Annual Bastille Day Event with the Petersen this year, and you DON'T WANT TO MISS IT! This tradition promises an afternoon of great cars, great food, and even better company - with some extra special touches this year.
All makes and models of vehicles are welcome, but in commemoration of our 30th Anniversary, we would like to encourage dusting off some of your best vintage cars for this soiree! More information about marquee parking and a full run of show is shared with CF200 Member ticket holders.

About the Event
Join us for an unforgettable automotive adventure to the Central Coast! This exclusive rally promises a unique blend of spirited drives, private collection tours, and camaraderie among fellow car enthusiasts.
Only 20 cars will be accepted into the event and participants will have the opportunity to go head to head on a ½ mile airstrip!
Car requirements: Must be a sports or supercar from 1985 or newer

To keep our routes confidential, rally information will be sent the day before the event. Paper copies of the route will also be provided the day of the rally during our Driver’s Meeting.
For this Rally, please meet at the Petersen Museum at 9:00 AM on June 22nd, 2024 -
If you’re coming from the opposite direction, you are welcome to join us for a later part of the rally. If you’re interested in this, contact ksaville@petersen.org for more information.
Note: No discounts or special rates will be offered if entering the rally at a different point.

Feel free to bring any sports-car or supercar from 1985 and onwards. Please ensure that the vehicle is in appropriate condition for high-speed 1/2 mile runs.

Your guest may not bring an additional vehicle unless they purchase their own ticket. Due to restrictions, we are limited to a certain amount of vehicles for this Rally.

Our booked rooms contain 1 King Size bed per room. Bringing a guest does not include an additional room or bed.

To celebrate the Italian Republic Day, the Petersen will be hosting a rally to Santa Barbara, ending at the Villa Bellosguardo Foundation - a beautiful estate with Mediterranean inspiration overlooking the ocean, with an evening reception.
Run of Show:
12:00 PM | Rally attendees park on P3 and enjoy the VIP lunch
2:00 PM | Begin Rally
4:30 PM | Arrive at Bellosguardo Estate
5:00 PM | Tour, Aperitivo, and Cocktail Reception.
7:00 PM | Event ends

For those wanting to display a vehicle as a show car - it must be an Italian make car. Those who bring vehicles who do not fit within these guidelines will not be allowed to park in the show car area until after the event, REGARDLESS of what ticket was purchased.
However, if you’re joining us for the Rally - Any vehicle is welcome to join us, and we have special parking available on P4.
