Hydrogen Flow

Honda unveiled this design study model at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show to showcase its vision for a high-performance sports car powered by Honda’s V Flow hydrogen fuel cell technology. The FC Sport demonstrated the possibility of an electric-driven, hydrogen-powered sports car—a segment that was, at the time, largely confined to gasoline-powered vehicles. The vehicle’s styling included a staggered three-seat layout reminiscent of the McLaren F1, sculpted side panels referencing the aerodynamic barge boards found in Formula 1, and a clear rear panel displaying the car’s hydrogen fuel storage tanks.
