Continuing the Legacy of Art-Cars
California artist Zio Ziegler was commissioned to apply his unique and intricate pattern-inspired style to this 2004 Porsche 911 by the vehicle’s owners. The Porsche proved an inspiring canvas for Ziegler: “The 911…takes the cake for the most dynamic surface….The lines were so organic I could practically close my eyes and let my hand find the origins of the design. I feel lucky to have painted it.” Ziegler has said that he was partly influenced by singer Janis Joplin’s colorfully painted 1964 Porsche 356C SC when creating this vehicle’s design.
