This car, dubbed “Purple Dragon,” is one of 10 Intensa Emozione hypercars built by German sports car manufacturer Apollo Automobil. Though street-legal, the outlandish GT1-inspired IE was constructed in conjunction with race car development specialist HWA. The car’s body panels and monocoque chassis are made of carbon fiber, keeping the curb weight low to enable a high top speed and rapid acceleration. The modified Ferrari-derived V-12 engine generates 780 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. With names like “Orange Dragon” and “Red Dragon,” the IEs sport unique paint schemes.
