World’s Most Beautiful E85 Six-Speed

Boutique Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg built the CCXR to be a more “environmentally friendly” variant of the CCX. It runs on either gasoline or renewable biofuel like E85 ethanol. With a higher octane rating than gas, ethanol provides increased power, and with it, the CCXR produces more than 200 hp over the CCX. This CCXR has a six-speed manual transmission and has been retrofitted to include aerodynamic elements introduced in later Koenigseggs. In March 2009, the CCXR was named one of the 10 “world's most beautiful cars” by Forbes.
