Ken Block called on his experience as co-founder and chief brand officer of DC Shoes, a skateboarding apparel brand, to promote his rally career with Gymkhana: PRACTICE (or Gymkhana ONE). Inspired by early 2000s skateboarding videos, the film featured Block executing high-speed precision driving maneuvers in this 2005 Subaru (updated to look like a 2006 model), modified for the now-defunct Gymkhana USA motorsports series. The film became one of the most popular online videos of 2008 and spawned 16 sequels and spinoffs.
