The Hottest Orange Car on Netflix

The Plymouth XNR concept car was originally conceived to compete with other two-seater roadsters of the time, such as the Chevrolet Corvette and the Ford Falcon. Designed by and named after the world-famous car designer, Virgil Exner, the XNR sported a highly unique asymmetrical body that sat on top of a modified Plymouth Valiant chassis. Perhaps even more unusual than the design itself is the story behind the original car. After it toured the United States, it was shipped to Ghia, Italy and then sold to the Shah of Iran. Eventually, the car made its way to Lebanon and then sat underground in Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War. Most experts thought the car was lost forever, but it ultimately resurfaced and was sent to Canada to be fully restored in 2011. This replica of the original car was built by the team at Gotham Garage, led by owner and lead builder, Mark Towle.
