Class of One

With its race-ready engine, revolutionary chassis, and stunning coachwork, the Alfa-Romeo 8C-2900B was considered the ultimate sports car of its time. While four coachbuilders are known to have bodied Alfa Romeo 8C-2900Bs, Carrozzeria Touring is best known and their designs are considered the most attractive and desirable. A mere 13 road-going 8C2900Bs were built, many of which were rebodied, reconfigured, or modified in other ways. Despite having been built more than 80 years ago, this coupe, the most show-winning vehicle in automotive history, is a standout even among other 8C-2900Bs.
