Reading Roadsters!
Discover the joy of reading in the Discovery Center with our Reading Roadsters Program! Every weekend at 2:30 pm, families can dive into a new adventure with a different book, paired with engaging and fun activities designed to bring the story to life. For 2025, Reading Roadsters will be expanding its programming. We will be focusing on connecting with guests through stories themed around our focus in the discovery center each quarter! We will have various prizes, activities, games, and so much more not only for our little roadsters, but also for those who are kids at heart.

Weekend Activities
Join us during the weekend!
On select weekends each month, the Discovery Center offers complimentary hands-on activities for visitors of all-ages. The completed activity is for guests to take home with them! Typically, the weekend activity reflects an upcoming holiday or automotive event. For major holidays such as Christmas, we offer week long activities (such as our popular Gingerbread Garages). If you have any suggestions or questions about upcoming activities, feel free to reach out to the Petersen Education Staff.
