Living La Dolce Vita: The Petersen's Italian Cruise-In Recap

Written by Emerson Harris

The Petersen’s Annual Italian Cruise-In brought La Dolce Vita to the museum’s iconic parking structure. From booths serving Italian culinary favorites to on-theme music filling the venue, the event immersed attendees in the sights, sounds, and flavors of Italy.

The true stars of the day, however, were the automobiles. Italian marques including Lancia, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo filled the lot, showcasing the country's rich automotive heritage. Even motorcycles took center stage, with Ducatis and Aprilias proving that Italian engineering excellence extends beyond four wheels. Stealing the spotlight, however, was the central row of Ferraris, an extraordinary lineup of Maranello's finest. Alongside examples spanning nearly every era of Ferrari's modern lineup, attendees were treated to several exceptionally rare Prancing Horses. Highlights included an incredibly rare Ferrari 250 SWB and three Ferrari 275s, giving enthusiasts a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience some of Italy's most celebrated sports cars up close.

Ferrari Beverly Hills elevated the event with an exclusive VIP lounge for its clients, complete with a Ferrari coffee bar and a display of the marque's latest models, including the new SF90 XX. Meanwhile, the Petersen's own Fiat Shellette made a charming appearance, adorned with tricolore balloons and displayed alongside the legendary Ferrari F40 and Ferrari Enzo, an unforgettable trio that perfectly captured the spirit of Italian automotive culture.

The Italian Cruise-In proved to be another unforgettable celebration of the passion, beauty, and craftsmanship that define Italy's automotive legacy.
