Best In Low Exhibition Opening Night Recap

The Best In Low: Lowrider Icons of the Street and Show Exhibit Opening Night

We were thrilled to see the excitement around this event! We had a DJ, food, a live Q&A panel, and more. Crowd favorites included beautiful cars and remote-control lowriders. We also had some guest appearances by some of the builders of these cars, as well as builders from the community who brought in their lowriders to our car show!

Another crowd favorite was a car club, Imperials, that set up their hydraulics in increasing order of height — perfectly aligning their cars to make a rising ‘wave’ of lowriders.

Community & Family

One of the most important aspects of lowriding is the community. For over 50 years, it’s been about car clubs, friends, family, all tied together in self-expression. Everyone knows everyone, for better and for worse, but everyone is united under a passion for cars and competition, both in hop-competitions and artistry.
