Museum Highlight Tour
60 Minute Tour
This journey includes a broad view of all three interior floors; History, Industry and Artistry and will touch on the not-to-be-missed installations on each. Whether a heritage vehicle essential to the story of the automobile or a limited exhibition of significant importance here for a rare and finite showing, the Highlights Tour is a great introduction to the museum and its amazing collection.
$15 Per Person. $150 Minimum. General Admission is NOT included. 72 Hour Advance Notice.
Private Vault Tour
90 Minute Tour
The Petersen Automotive Museum Vault presented by Hagerty® houses some of the museum’s more unique and exciting cars. This collection represents years of automotive advancements, history making and trend setting. Guests get access to many of the museum’s most prized acquisitions and learn their distinctive stories. Some are so rare, many have seldom been seen by the public.
$1,000 for Groups of 1 - 15. Additional cost for larger groups. General Admission included. 72 Hour Advance Notice.
Spotlight Tour
60 Minute Tour
A unique touring option where you can take a deeper look at certain exhibits, brands, or car experiences. A Spotlight tour is a 60-minute experience that will allow you to go beyond the normal talking points and take a concentrated look at the amazing vehicles.

VIP Tours
A truly chauffeured experience
When only a premium experience will do, opt-in for a private VIP tour designed exclusively for you. Depending on your schedule, interest, and guests, the Petersen offers a custom experience that truly goes beyond the base model, with many a la carte options to choose from. These options include transportation to and from the Petersen in a museum vehicle, themed tours, merchandise, tours guided by one of our historians/conservators and so much more! The ultimate access, however, can be achieved before or after museum hours. This offers an intimate experience of a guided tour of the museum without the crowds and distractions.
