Each ticket voucher provides complimentary general admission to your child and up to three additional guests. Your child must be present to redeem the ticket and must bring a valid proof of enrollment (e.g. student ID, recent report card, present an email with a valid school email address). You do not need to book tickets in advance. Simply bring your ticket voucher to the Admissions desk and they will provide you with your general admission stickers and parking validation good for the day of your visit. Your ticket voucher can only be redeemed once and will be collected by our Admissions team on the day of your visit. This voucher does not include access to the Vault. If you would like to visit our Vault, all guests in your party must purchase Vault admission separately.

These ticket vouchers are for students’ PERSONAL use and not intended for school visits or field trips. Vouchers are not needed to book a field trip. We offer guided and self-guided experiences for all grade levels. Admission and bus scholarships are available.

No, ticket vouchers are for students and their families ONLY. Teachers are always welcome to visit the Petersen and eligible to receive free general admission with proof of employment when checking in at Admissions (e.g. valid school ID, present an email with a valid school email address). You can also request your ticket ahead of time by visiting this link. Educators are entitled to one complimentary ticket per visit. Educator tickets are non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. Any additional guests and/or family members must purchase their own tickets. Vault access and parking validation are not included with complimentary Educator admission.

The Petersen Automotive Museum would like to welcome you and your family to our museum! Our extensive collection spans every era of the automobile with nearly 150 vehicles on display in our main galleries. Our exhibits span various makes, models, and cultures and change often so there’s always something new to see at the Petersen! Every floor has friendly Petersen staff and volunteers happy to chat with you about our collection. We look forward to seeing you soon! When visiting, please keep in mind: Large bags, backpacks, purses, and/or luggages, must be checked-in at our Security Dispatch Office. For the safety of our collection, oversized personal items are not allowed on the floors. Exceptions include medical equipment and diaper bags. Touching or entering any vehicle is NOT ALLOWED unless otherwise indicated. Any opportunities to interact with a vehicle will be displayed on a placard. Food and beverages are not allowed on the main floors. Exceptions include sealable water bottles. Photo and video for personal use is allowed. However, do not reach over stanchions or hold your device over or inside any part of a vehicle or display.

The Petersen Automotive Museum is located at 6060 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036. We have a parking structure onsite. Parking validation for one vehicle is included with your ticket voucher for the day of your visit. Please note, we do not have an elevator in our parking structure. If you have mobility needs, please park on the first level of our parking structure (P1) or drop-off your party in the designated loading zone before parking on the upper levels. We are also accessible via Metro rail and various public bus systems! For rail, take the Metro D Line (Purple) to the Wilshire/Fairfax station. For buses, we are located near stops for Metro Bus 217, Metro Bus 20/720, and the LADOT DASH Fairfax line.

We have limited ticket vouchers to distribute per school year. Due to these constraints, we are not able to offer vouchers to every school. If you would like to request ticket vouchers, you can reach out to: Your schools Cultural Arts Passport (CAP) Champion who can request tickets through our CAP partnership with LAUSD. If your school does not have a CAP representative, please contact the Petersen Education team directly at: education@petersen.org or 323-964-6353. We cannot guarantee that we can honor every inquiry, but we will do our best to accommodate your request or recommend other Petersen Education programs that may be of interest.

To provide this opportunity to as many students as possible, we are unable to provide additional tickets to schools who have already participated in our program at this time.
