2017 Scuderia Toro Rosso STR12

Scuderia Toro Rosso, also known as Scuderia Alpha Tauri, debuted in 2006 as the second F1 team owned by the energy drink company Red Bull.  The STR12 was built for the 2017 season and was the first of STR’s cars to use a Renault engine rather than a Ferrari unit.  It also included a number of new aerodynamic features like a “monkey seat,” a small curved element located beneath the main rear wing, and a “shark fin,” a vertical wing extending from the air diffuser.
