2013 Ferrari F138

Beginning in 2013, FIA regulations prevented manufacturers from making internal modifications to increase performance, so much of the F138’s design instead focused on maximizing its aerodynamic efficiency and engine durability.  The F138 was also the last Ferrari F1 car to use a V-8 engine before the FIA mandated use of V-6 engines in all F1 cars the following year.  Driven by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, the F138 saw success throughout the 2013 season, capturing multiple wins and with Alonso contending for the World Drivers’ Championship.
