The 2027 Career Fair @ the Petersen Museum

We invite you and your students to the 3rd annual Cars and Career Fair at the Petersen in partnership with Acceler8, CNCDA, and GLANDCA. This event is a great opportunity to introduce your students to career paths across the automotive industry including manufacturers, schools with automotive related programs, after market customizers, and media companies. The day will include a chance to get hands on with various companies, talk to experts across the industry, explore the Petersen Automotive Museum, and have fun.

Starting with a panel discussion, students will be introduced to the opportunities in the industry before being given access to self explore the three floors of the museum.

Explore the Career Fair, talk to various companies, and join several hands-on demonstrations to get a real world understanding of what a normal work day looks like.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know!

No. This event is free for students and educators to attend as long as they register in advance. Museum admission and lunch are provided for all individuals registered to attend.
No, but we recommend a 10:1 student:chaperone ratio.
Transportation assistance is available to eligible schools. Please indicate your need for transportation assistance on your application.
This event is recommended for teachers and principals of high school students (grades 9 - 12). Other career services groups, non-profit organizations, and homeschools are welcome to attend.
Large backpacks and bags are not allowed inside of the museum. Bags must be smaller than (15” x 12” x 4”) to enter. Lunch and water will be provided. No food or drinks are allowed inside of the museum exhibitions.
