Tony Angelo came to prominence as part of the first wave of American drifters. His skills earned him a spot driving in Formula Drift, and eventually as a judge where he revolutionized the sport by changing the way it was scored. He’s now one of the hosts of Motor Trend’s Hot Rod Garage show along with Lucky Costa and can be found causing trouble on the streets of his native Philadelphia and in his adopted home, Los Angeles. Tony sat down with Kyle and talked about what it was like being a broke kid on the cutting edge of a sport and what it was like to ride the incredible surge that drifting has had in the last 20 years. They talked about how he fell into hosting Hot Rod Garage as well as his upcoming build for SEMA, the Fishtail ‘Cuda.
