Supercharged Speed Machine
Kawasaki’s H2R is the first production motorcycle with a supercharger. Designed and manufactured by Kawasaki, the centrifugal supercharger enables the 998cc engine to achieve 310 horsepower at 14,000 rpm. The H2R features carbon-fiber bodywork with winglets for stability and ram air intakes that direct air into the supercharger. The bike’s hand-applied “Silver Mirror” finish is achieved by a chemical reaction between pure silver ions and a catalyst in the base coat.
