CB750

The World's First Super-Bike

Upon its introduction, the Honda CB750 was the most advanced motorcycle the company had ever built. Combining Grand Prix technology and refinement at a low price, the CB750 was equipped with a 750cc four-cylinder engine with four individual carburetors, a five-speed transmission, a front disc brake, and an electric starter. Journalists of the day praised the CB750’s power and smoothness, and it became the first motorcycle to be labeled a “superbike.”
