A Japanese Cult Classic
Comfortable and easy to operate, the Fuji Rabbit had a sleek body shell that concealed a rear air suspension system and a fully automatic Superflow transmission that eliminated the need for manual gear changing. The Rabbit was equipped with a 200cc, two-stroke engine rated at 11 horsepower and carried a retail price of $495. Top speed was a respectable 60 miles per hour. Fuji Heavy Industries built scooters from 1946 to 1968 and today manufactures aircraft, industrial engines, environmentally friendly sanitation equipment, and the Subaru automobile.
