Please join us in welcoming Nadine Sachiko Hsu to the Petersen to celebrate the opening of JDM X Street Style, featuring a collection of memorabilia from Nadine's driftcareer. This event is open to all museum guests, and will feature a conversation about drifting, public Q&A, book signing, and ribbon cutting to open the exhibit.
ABOUT Nadine Sachiko Hsu
Nadine Sachiko Hsu grew up sneaking out to drift with friends in Southern California, and became one of the first women to compete in Formula Drift, the 1st professional Drift racing series in the United States. In the early 2000s she was not only competing as a 14-sponsor-backed professional race car driver, she was stunt driving for theFast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Today, Nadine continues her connection to drifting through "Drifting Pretty", an organization for the advancement of women in motorsport, and as the author of the children's book series "Sachiko Goes Racing". Nadine continues her mission of inspiring future generations to pursue their passions.
