MULLIN FAMILY GRAND SALON
The flowing lines and elegant shapes of the cars in this gallery showcase automotive artistry at its most elegant. Though future exhibits will expand on this theme with vehicles from other eras, the first exhibit focuses on cars built before WWII.
From a Bugatti gifted to the Prince of Persia to a Delahaye racer purpose-built to beat Hitler, the cars in this gallery offer some truly unique perspectives.
THE ARMAND HAMMER FOUNDATION GALLERY
The Armand Hammer Foundation Gallery is the Petersen’s closest link between the automobile and fine art. The first exhibit focuses on the amazing art initiative and pieces created by BMW’s long-standing support of the art community.
The most notable examples will be two vehicles from the famed BMW Art Car collection. These are on display – featuring work from Alexander Calder, David Hockney and Robin Rhode.
